Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu (Gaura) and Lord Nityananda Prabhu (Nitai) are the most merciful incarnations of Lord Krishna and Lord Balarama, who appeared in Kali Yuga to freely distribute love of God through the Hare Krishna Mahamantra.

Their raised hands symbolize their call for Sankirtan—inviting everyone to chant, dance, and be happy in Krishna consciousness.
