As per Bhrama Samhita Lord Krishna is Govindam Adi Pursham tam aham bhajami – Krishna is the Premival Lord, oldest of all, the cause of all causes, the creator and generator.

Krishna says in Bhagavad Gita “Aham sarvasya prabhava…” “everything eminates from Me, ” Mattah parataram nanyat kinchit asti Dhananjaya ” ” No one is equal or above Me- Krishna “.

Janmashtami Vrata is equal to 1000 Ekadashi Vrata.

It instantly liberates the soul from the cycle of Birth and Death.

Abhishek of Lord Shri Krishna on this day is considered as one of most transcendental activity.

Abhishek is done with :-
1. Shuddhadayi Snana ( Water )
2. Milk
3. Curd
4. Ghee
5. Honey
6. Sugar / Jaggery water
7. fruit juices whatever available ( home made not packed- preservatives )
8. Turmeric water
9. Plain water
10. Flowers / Pushpa Abhishek.

After Abhseik Fresh Butter made of A2 Cow milk is offered to Lord Krishna
